开封仪表有限公司前身是开封仪表厂，始建于1958年，原机械工业部直属重点企业, 是国内大型的流量仪表生产与测试基地。国家水大流量计量站、机械工业第十三计量测试中心站、机械工业流量仪表产品质量检测中心均位于我公司。 其中，国家水大流量计量站是由国家质量监督检验检疫总局授权建立的国家级法定计量检定机构，承担全国范围内大口径流量计检定工作。另外，我公司建有目前国内较完善的流量标准装置，有大、中、小型水流量、气体流量、油流量等实流标准装置和型式试验设备，是我国介质较全、流量范围较大的流量仪表生产试验基地。
