Paris, September 24, 2026. The 2026 Autumn International Executive Program on Theory and Practice of International Luxury Brand Strategy (51st Session Overall) successfully concluded in Paris, France. This condensed nine‑day program held across Shanghai, Milan and Paris offered brand‑entrepreneur participants cutting‑edge global theoretical frameworks, methodologies and case studies on international luxury brand strategy during the two‑day Shanghai module. It also included hands‑on workshops at headquarters of world‑leading fashion and luxury houses, as well as museum visits and exchange sessions in Milan (three days) and Paris (three days). This session was the second exclusive senior‑executive program tailored for Peacebird Group.
The Shanghai module took place along the Xuhui Riverside. Mr. Zhang Jiangping, Chairman of Peacebird Group, delivered the opening address. He pointed out that Chinese fashion enterprises are generally confronted with homogeneous cut‑throat competition. To address this, they must pursue luxury‑oriented upgrading and internationalization, so as to continuously raise the competence of internal teams and partners within the global fashion‑luxury sector. As a leading Chinese fashion brand, Peacebird fully recognizes that sustained efforts are required to strengthen its comprehensive and systematic independent‑innovation capabilities. Only in this way can the brand enhance its appeal and product quality to stand out amid competition at home and abroad.
To tackle this key pain point for the enterprise and the broader industry, a dedicated track was set up under the entrepreneur program run by the Institute of International Luxury Brand Strategy. Dean Pierre Xiao Lu, a seasoned global expert in luxury‑brand strategy, delivered the full‑session lectures for entrepreneurs and senior executives, and facilitated group reflection and exchanges.

Day 3: Arrival in Milan. Participants visited an international luxury leather‑goods workshop to learn about the production and manufacturing processes behind luxury‑brand leatherware. Far from being mysterious or relying on cutting‑edge proprietary technology, these processes hinge solely on rigorous workflows and relentless pursuit of perfection.
Simple as it may sound, only France and Italy in the world can sustain such high‑level output over time. Other countries are unable to achieve this consistent and continuously refined standard of precision; even if they manage to reach it temporarily, they cannot maintain it. This stems from the absence of supporting systems built upon international luxury‑brand strategy.

Day 8 (Paris): In the morning, the group visited the Musée de la Mode de la Ville de Paris. In the afternoon, they toured the Louvre Museum, and conducted field research at the Opéra Garnier and the Galeries Lafayette commercial district.
In the evening, participants took part in course summary and sharing sessions, followed by the graduation certificate awarding ceremony.
Day 9: Paris to Shanghai. The group departed Paris for Shanghai, marking the successful conclusion of the program!

Chairman Zhang Jiangping delivered an impassioned closing speech for the program. He stated that although Chinese brand enterprises have made certain progress over the years, there is still a substantial gap with successful international luxury brands in terms of both quality and scale. Specifically, domestic brands suffer from low customer unit prices and profit margins, insufficient market scale for footwear and apparel enterprises, and an unstable international layout. These shortcomings are quite prominent.
Therefore, the R&D and supply chain teams of domestic brand enterprises should stay humble and grounded, neither underestimating themselves nor becoming blindly arrogant. They need to steadily upgrade product quality and brand strength, create greater value for consumers at home and abroad, and strive toward the goals of entering the Fortune Global 500 and the World’s Top 100 Brands.
The International Executive Program on International Luxury Brand Strategy has come to a successful conclusion. For the detailed program schedule, please refer to the following project introductions.
