Statistics are merely results. What lies behind them are students with unique academic aspirations, interests and life plans. FCG holds that university acceptances are not education’s finish line, but a gateway to the next phase of life — one that comes as students develop self-awareness and an understanding of the world.
From courses to portfolios, from academics to applications, FCG guides students step by step — linking their interests, skills and ambitions. Every offer follows naturally from sustained effort.
As the sole overseas partner campus of Fettes College, FCG was co-founded by Fettes College and Country Garden Education. It consistently balances international educational expertise with local practical experience to forge growth pathways best-suited to its students.
In the Early Years, FCG adopts the UK’s EYFS framework integrated with IB PYP trans-disciplinary inquiry. For Primary and Middle School, the Chinese National Curriculum forms the foundation, delivered within the IB PYP and MYP frameworks. Senior School offers IGCSE, A-Level, AP and BTEC programmes, with additional learning opportunities delivered in partnership with CSVPA.
FCG carries forward the British boarding tradition, offering 5-day and 7-day boarding. Over 200 CCA programmes give students access to sports, arts, technology and culture beyond academics. Living side-by-side within the boarding community, students gradually build independence, self-discipline, tolerance and collaboration. Boarding is far more than accommodation; it is a formative lesson in responsibility, friendship and self-management.
FCG places student physical and mental wellbeing on equal footing with academic progress. When students face challenges or struggles, teachers, tutors and specialist teams' step in promptly to deliver practical, targeted guidance. Beyond knowledge and skills, we hope our students graduate with the inner strength to navigate their future independently.
From Hurun Education to cohorts of graduates going global, FCG holds one central conviction: education is not chasing one single answer. With a solid system, expert staff and consistent practices, we provide tangible, trustworthy growth support for all families.
Six years have seen our community flourish. Going ahead, with an open perspective, FCG will help young people uncover their passions, realise their potential and reach for wider opportunities.
