导语
先看两句学生在作业里最常写错的句子：
❌ I have an useful book. ❌ He goes to the school every day.
第一句，错在 a 和 an 的选用；第二句，加了一个 the，意思就从"去上学"变成了"去那所学校"。冠词只有 a、an、the 三个小词，却几乎每道单选的选项里都有它。今天把它一次讲清。
一、先建立地图：冠词就管三件事

一句话先记住：a / an 表示"某一个"，the 表示"那一个"，什么都不加往往表示"这类事"。
二、10 个高频易错点
1. a 还是 an：看读音，不看字母
这是冠词里最高频、也最容易丢分的一条。判断标准只有一个——后面那个词的第一个音是元音音素还是辅音音素。

最容易错的一组： useful 和 university 虽然以字母 u 开头，但读音以 /j/ 开头，是辅音音素，所以用 a；而 hour 和 honest 的 h 不发音，实际以元音开头，所以用 an。
口诀：看音不看字。u 读"优"就用 a，h 不发音就用 an。
2. 第一次提到用 a / an，第二次提到用 the
- I saw a dog in the park. The dog was very big.（我在公园里看到一只狗。那只狗很大。）
- She bought a book yesterday. The book is about music.（她昨天买了一本书。那本书是关于音乐的。）
第一次出现，听话人还不知道是哪一只、哪一本，用 a / an；第二次出现，双方都知道指的是同一个了，就换成 the。
口诀：第一次见面用 a / an，再见面就是老朋友，用 the。
3. the 的核心用法：特指"双方都知道的那个"
只要说话双方心里都清楚指的是哪一个，就用 the：
- Please close the door.（请把门关上。—— 说的人知道是哪扇门）
- The boy in the blue coat is my brother.（穿蓝外套的那个男孩是我哥哥。）
- Where is the teacher?（老师在哪儿？）
口诀：你知我知就是 the，说不清是哪一个就用 a / an。
4. 世界上独一无二的事物，前面加 the
the sun（太阳）, the moon（月亮）, the earth（地球）, the sky（天空）, the world（世界）
The moon goes around the earth.（月亮绕着地球转。）
口诀：天上有太阳月亮，脚下有地球世界——独一份的，都归 the 管。
5. 序数词、最高级前面，加 the
- He is the first student to come to school.（他是第一个到校的学生。）
- Amy is the tallest girl in our class.（艾米是我们班最高的女孩。）
口诀：第一最高，都加 the。
6. 乐器前加 the，球类前不加
口诀：乐器要"戴"the，球类光着跑。
7. 这些词前面什么都不加：三餐、学科、语言、交通方式

- I have breakfast at seven and go to school by bike.（我七点吃早饭，然后骑自行车去上学。）
- We have maths and English in the morning.（我们上午有数学课和英语课。）
口诀：吃饭、上课、坐车、回家，都是"老熟人"，不用带冠词。
8. 加不加 the，意思不一样（中考最爱考的一组）

- My sister goes to school at seven.（我姐姐七点去上学。）
- My mother went to the school to see my teacher.（我妈妈去学校见我的老师。）
口诀：办正事不加 the，去那个地方要加 the。
9. the + 姓氏复数 = 一家人；the + 形容词 = 一类人
- The Smiths are having dinner.（史密斯一家正在吃晚饭。）
- The young should help the old.（年轻人应该帮助老年人。）
注意姓氏变复数时不能加 's：the Smiths（✓），the Smith's（✗）。
口诀：姓氏加 s 前带 the，就是"一家子"；形容词前带 the，就是"那一类"。
10. 写作里最冤的丢分：a / an / the 该加没加
书面表达里冠词错，多半是漏写：
- ❌ I have old bike. It's birthday present from my father.
- ✅ I have an old bike. It's a birthday present from my father.
写完自查三问： 可数名词单数前面有没有 a / an？第二次提到的那个人或东西，换成 the 了吗？三餐、球类前面是不是多写了 the？
口诀：单数名词不"裸奔"，前有 a / an 后有 the。
三、中考风格演练（4 题）
1. — What's this in English? — It's __ useful book about ____ Great Wall. A. a; the B. an; the C. a; / D. an; /
答案：A 解析：useful 读 /ˈjuːsfl/，第一个音是辅音音素 /j/，用 a；the Great Wall（长城）是特指的专有名词，用 the。
2. I usually have __ breakfast at seven and then go to _ school by ___ bike. A. a; the; a B. /; /; / C. the; /; the D. /; the; /
答案：B 解析：三餐 breakfast 前不加冠词；go to school 表示"去上学"，不加 the；by bike 表示交通方式，也不加冠词。
3. Linda can play __ piano very well, and she is also good at playing ____ volleyball. A. the; the B. /; / C. the; / D. /; the
答案：C 解析：乐器 piano 前加 the；球类 volleyball 前不加冠词，这是固定用法，两处不能颠倒。
4. 用适当的冠词填空（不需要填的地方写"/"）： Tom is __ tallest boy in Class Three. He is ____ honest student, and everyone likes him.
答案：the; an 解析：最高级 tallest 前必须加 the；honest 的 h 不发音，读 /ˈɒnɪst/，以元音音素开头，所以用 an。
四、随堂练习（5 题）

参考答案
- A。字母 u 读 /juː/，以辅音音素开头，用 a；字母 s 读 /es/，以元音音素开头，用 an。
- A。the Greens 指"格林一家"；next Sunday 这类时间状语前不加冠词。
- A。English 以元音音素 /ɪ/ 开头，用 an；teach English 中的 English 指学科，前面不加冠词。
- / ; the。play basketball 球类前不加冠词；play the violin 乐器前必须加 the。
- an ; The。old 以元音音素开头，用 an；后面第二次提到这辆车，用 the 特指。
五、一句话总结
冠词就记三条：
- a 还是 an 看读音：u 读"优"就用 a（a useful book），h 不发音就用 an（an hour）。
- the 管"特指"：独一无二、序数词、最高级、乐器、第二次提到，都加 the。
- 零冠词管"老熟人"：三餐、球类、学科、交通方式、go to school，一律不加。
