Direct and manage financial operations to ensure the effective and efficient utilization of money, materials, and assets while maintaining appropriate internal controls to ensure compliance with good financial policies and procedures in safeguarding the company’s assets.
Cost control and cost reduction projects supporting lean culture. Identify cost savings, productivity and other opportunities and propose solutions to establish plant control issues, correction and compliance.
Provide status of financial condition of the company by collecting, interpreting and reporting key financial data to support plant discussions and decision making regarding setting priorities, optimizing workflow, supporting manufacturing operations, and accomplishing other goals and objectives.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, professional and corporate requirements by researching existing and new legislation, consulting with outside auditors/advisors, and filing financial reports.
Facilitate budget preparation along with developing financial business plans and forecasts.
Maximize return and limits risks for including cash, investments, and other asset management.
Coordinate with management team strategic planning, including but not limited to goals for current and future years; financial planning for growth and expansion.
